Privacy Policy for Employee SMS Time Entry Reminders

Twilio ("Twilio," "we," "us," or "our") uses text messaging to send employees reminders related to time entry in the Company employment app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected in connection with that SMS program, how it is used, and the choices available to employees.

Information Collected
The SMS program may collect and use the following information:
  • Employee name
  • Mobile phone number
  • Employment-related identifiers needed to route reminders
  • Time-entry status or reminder triggers from the employment app
  • Message delivery, opt-in, and opt-out records

How Information Is Used
This information is used only to operate and support the employee time-entry reminder program, including:
  • Sending reminders to enter time in the employment app
  • Sending related operational notices about time entry or timesheet deadlines
  • Maintaining records of consent, delivery, and opt-out requests
  • Improving the reliability and administration of the messaging program
Mobile Information
"Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are used solely for the Company’s internal employee communications related to time entry and workforce operations. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Twilio and related carrier guidance specifically expect privacy disclosures to explain how consumer data is handled and to state that mobile opt-in data is not sold or shared for third-party marketing."

Suggested clause:
"No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for their own marketing purposes."

Sharing of Information
Information may be shared only with service providers that help operate the employment app, messaging platform, payroll support systems, or other internal workforce tools, and only to the extent necessary to provide those services and maintain compliance.

Data Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used to protect personal information associated with the SMS program.

Employee Choices
"Employees may opt out of SMS reminders at any time by replying STOP to any message. Employees may also contact service@rodsnmods.com for assistance with the program.
Twilio’s messaging campaign terms and common campaign disclosures include STOP and HELP instructions as standard consumer messaging language."
